This CLE program brings together legal and cybersecurity experts to examine how these emerging technologies are being used to target law firms and clients. Panelists will discuss recent examples of AI-driven scams, the ethical and professional risks they pose, and practical strategies to detect and prevent them. Attendees will learn how to recognize deep-fakes, implement verification protocols, and strengthen firm defenses to protect confidential client data and maintain trust in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Identify common types of AI-driven phishing scams and deepfake attacks targeting law firms.
- Recognize warning signs and verification methods to detect fraudulent communications.
- Understand the ethical and professional obligations related to data security and client confidentiality.
- Apply practical risk-management strategies to prevent AI-enabled fraud and protect client information.
